New Home
This is going to be a different kind of blog today but I really wanted to share it. I recently moved into a home built by a Show called "Renovate my Family" hosted by Jay Mcgraw some of you may remember it, it was short lived a knock off of Extreme Home Makeover basically. This home is 7 years old now from my research I have learned that it has been foreclosed on twice since then the family that they built it for moved to Pensacola, Fl. not sure if they lost it or sold it. It was built for them because their house burned. Anyway, I have been checking everything out in it, it was built to be a smart house, well nothing works the master unit for the intercom and speaker system was ripped out, wires have been cut, there are wires hanging out everywhere, the main wires are so jumbled up you can't tell what's going on I have never seen such a mess in my life the alarm system which is ran off of the same panel as the lights and temperature cannot be figured out because no one knows the code. It has an AVG Legacy stove in it, only one side of it works the technician who looked at it said it needs to run on a 240 watt and theres only a 220 so my question is did they build the house so that could not even use the oven??? the dishwasher which is some European brand is broke and the technician states that he can't find the parts to fix it looks like the people who lived let their kid jump on it and break the door. The origional refrigerater was taken, don't know if the" Blankenship"s took it or the" Etal'"s after them, the fireplace does not work and their is no opening to light the pilot light. They actually removed the intercom out of the master bedroom it as if they thought they were being watched. So we have alot of cool stuff that we don't know how to use and it's going to cost a fortune to get it all working. Also someone took the mantel down. Other than that it is a beautiful home with a beautiful story, I cant wait to get it all working. I wish I could get in touch with these people and ask them some questions but I'm sure they would think I'm a stalker.
