Review of The Week!!! 2/18/11
This is a review for Victorias Secret Beachsexy Adjustable Self-Tan lotion. I am fair skinned and I started with the darkest dial, it turned me very dark with some rusty spots which was probably due to the color being to dark for my skin tone, so I will be testing the other shades and will do a further review on those. The fading period did not do well for me either, after a couple of days it was almost gone and splotchy, again it could be due to it being to dark for my skin tone. So for this shade I was not impressed. The smell was the best thing about it, it smelled great and did not ever get that self tanner smell which is a plus for me. I got a pedicure the next day and sad to say that my tan embarrasingly came off on the white towels. We'll see what the other shades do before giving a total bad review though.

Revlon Colorstay
I have very dry, fair skin so I have had a hard time finding a drugstore foundation due to the fact that you cannot test it first. I purchased Revlon Colorstay with softflex in 180, sand beige, for dry skin and was very impressed it stays put in humidity and does not rub off on clothes, and stays all day long without drying my skin out. It was medium coverage the color worked great on me. You do have to work with it quickly though. My daughter also purchased it in oily/combination and loves it, it works great on her skin also. This will definately be my go to foundation especially in the summertime. Warning!!! if you accidently drip it on your clothes it is hard to get out, have a tide pen handy if your putting your makeup on already dressed.

Review of the week! 2/11/11
St. Tropez bronzing mousse self tanner. I am fair skinned with green eyes and dark brown hair (not naturally)
and very dry skin so I was a little skeptical using a mousse. When you first put it on it is very dark and gives you a nice color, it drys very quickly, with very little transfer to clothing. When you shower it is a lighter tan when the bronzer rinses off, you end up with a nice bronze glow not orangey at all the only self tanner I have ever used that did not turn me a rusty color. The fading process is a plus, especially with dry skin I always end up splotchy it takes about 4 days and fades very naturally. The tanning smell is still there though, not as bad as some I would say that is the only downfall. Overall a great product, I look forward to trying more St. Tropez products.
